Paul Monsted B.Comm. LL.M.
Founder, Managing Director
Paul is a founder and Managing Director of Aerial AI Ltd with over 10 years currency trading experience with coding input as well.
Paul has had a varied career from a tax lawyer, Associate Director of National Australia Ltd then the Investment banking arm of the National Australia Bank and more recently, created R&D business Expert Action.
Paul and Raymond were co-founders and directors of Technocash Limited** an early Fintech company which conducted an international money moving business. Whilst Paul was Managing Director he took the company’s transaction processing to over A$300 Million annually.
Paul is the co-author with Geoff Garside of “The Company Secretary: A Practical Guide” which was published by Prentice Hall. Paul was a NSW Board member and past lecturer of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries in Australia.
Dr. Richard Davis B.Sc. Ph.D.
Founder, Machine Learning Expert
Richard is one of the founders and his contributions are in the application of machine learning technologies which led him to coordinating Aerial AI's machine learning technology development.
He holds a Ph.D. in machine learning and has since worked in a range of consulting and data science positions with major companies.
He was a post-doctoral researcher in financial modelling and developed software in many areas such as for Westpac’s hedging system for its foreign exchange order book. He has co-authored many journal articles, conference papers and book chapters.
Sylvia Tulloch M.Sc.
Director, Commercial Advisor
Sylvia is an experienced commercial advisor and has taken two companies to ASX Listing. Her expertise has greatly contributed to incubators in many industries. She was the founding Managing Director of ASX Listed Dyesol Ltd. She is a scientist and the named inventor of several patents.
Most recently she was on the 2019 judging panel for the Australian Technology Competition, a Mentor for, and Director of the Trustee Board of the Griffin Accelerator for Canberra based start-up companies. She is Chair of the ACT Renewable Energy Innovation Fund’s Business Advisory Board.
She is currently chairman of ASX listed Metalsearch Limited (MSE).
Raymond Pakalns B.E.
Founder, Lead Software Developer
Raymond is a founder, with over 10 years currency trading experience and built the base code for Aerial AI.
He is also the Technical Director of Expert Action, another venture with Managing Director Paul Monsted. Raymond is an engineer who initially worked for the NSW Electricity Commission. He was an R&D manager for the public company, Impact Systems that produced some of Australia’s earliest digital laser printers.
He was a founder of Circuitlink Pty Ltd and invented several innovative technologies including a brake tester that is still used today by a significant number of motor mechanics for car registration renewals. Raymond also invented a physiotherapy device that was sold in America.
Raymond was also a co-founder and director of Technocash Limited which won an AusIndustry award for being “Australia’s only online non credit payment system” at that time.
Raymond built the base code for the software and developed the underlying trading algorithms for Expert Action. Raymond has over 10 years currency trading experience and is involved in coding.
